Off we go!! Our home getting boxed up and a birthday party for the kids at the same time!

Hi Everyone!
These pics seem a bit random - I need a serious lesson in blogging! Some are from Colorado and some from here - Ill get this figured out soon!

Charlie and Diego - Feeding the goats by our condo - - ella ballet recital with cousin Karlee!

Our Condo- the view out our window and inside the family room. Charlie on the patio.
Charlie and Ellas double birthday party at the gymnastics center by our Colorado home.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well we arrived and were out of touch for a while becuause we did not have internet in our place yet. The kids did well on the flight-pretty much slept the entire time, even on the second flight from London to Zurich.

Our cab ride from the airport to our place was an hour of turns and stop and go and I was about to throw up the wonderful swiss chocolate I had on the flight.
Our place is nice, very simple with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, washer dryer, kinda like a condo in Florida with tile and white everthing! So I am always reminded of how dirty our shoes really are;) There is no microwave so the oven has become my friend again - me and the oven arent usually friends but i have no choice or my kids eat cold food. The weather has been nice, 80s and sunny with a bit of rain and big showers earlier today which was fun - got some thunderstorms which isnt common in Colorado.
...the kids are loving this little town having fun exploring and going to all the parks within walking distance. We spent the day at a huge waterpark today and they had a great time. There have been some very funny and sometime very annoying hicccups, just small stuff - like everything is closed at luch time! so I am stuck and the grocery store with no money and the back across the street is closed - I actually figured out the atm and was able to go back and buy my stuff - thank goodness because it took a LONG time to pick it all out since it is all so different. No mac and cheese here--grrr....
We are on the first level and apparetnly went to bed with the window open because this morning Ella called to Ryan saying there was a kitty in our apartment - he of course thought she was pretending and sure enough there was a little kitty in our family room that hopped back out the window in came in.
I had to laugh because we've had no internet for a week and finally a girl next door told me I could go to the library and use it there - so we loaded up and went and it is only open from 3:30-6pm Mon-Thurs - I had 15 minutes to email everyone and they were practically kicking me out so they could go home - of course they worked like a 2.5 hour day - that is rough!
I paid 17.50 for Mc Donalds today which is like a delicacy or something, so better for us I guess, no more fast food for a while!
Ryan is awesome and set up slingbox while we were in colorado - which is basically us using the cable through my parents upstairs cablebox and running the signal through the internet to us. so I can watch real-time whatever is on and also tape shows through dvr. I am embarresed to say I am very happy about this!! I just watched Ellen real time and I feel more at home.
I hurt my leg on the playground(i know-so silly) and could not walk for a day so we actually went to the hospital in Zug to get it looked at since it was very painful and I though maybe I had a hairline fracture...everything is fine and the doctor was wonderful and spoke English. They gave me an ace bandage which helps. I am not limping so much anymore but it is sill a bit swollen. I feel good knowing that the care here is very good and they are very warm and easy to understand. They gave Ella a little stuffed bear since she went into the room with me while Charlie and Ryan ran around the waiting room.
There is a clock tower about 100 yards from us that -no joke - rings every quarter hour all day and all night. It isnt that bad once you are used to it Ive heard but with jetlag i am constantly reminded what time it is at 2 am!
Speaking of - it is 12:40 and i am tired so ill write more later!
Bye for now!
p.s. Ella is saying gracias instead of Danke which i think is funny, she is using the wrong language!!
