Welcome to our blog - I am new to blogging so hopefully it improves as I go along;)
Monday, June 30th: Today our movers came to pack our house and they will load it all into the truck tomorrow. We rented the home so it is nice to know we will be able to return to it. We will wait a little over a month for everything to arrive in Switzerland. Our adventure to Switzerland officially begins this Saturday July 5th! Here are a couple of pictures of the town we will be living in temporarily. It is called Zug and I guess is very quaint and beautif

I have registered both Ella and Charlie in the Obersee Bilingual School in Wollerau which is about 5 minutes from Ryan's office and we will find a home within 5-10 minutes from there. We will have a rental car until we find a car to lease - just one family car as I guess the public transit is pretty much able to get you anywhere you want to go.

Coming from Colorado I have not bought "Rain gear" in about 8 years - well, Switzerland is a different story - it rains more often. So I actually bought this cool little plastic cover for my stroller. I have yet to get myself a rain coat, but as long as the kids are dry and happy -- I am happy. Here is a link to Zurich weather which will be 20 min from us.

Since my computer is packed I have limited access to photo capability until I can figure out how to download them from my camera to my laptop...so they may be a bit random until I figure it all out! Here are some more pics of the kids.....poor Charlie was dressed up and forced to smile by his sister.

Melanie,
We love the communication with the blog. We will look forward to all of the Plourde family adventures. The Swiss towns look charming! How exciting. Good Luck this week. What a great job your family has done in making this all come together. We're looking forward to our first visit and you're not even there yet! Have a great trip over. Love, Sherrie and Mike
